On show at the Naughton Gallery at Queen’s for the second year, UsFolk 6 marks the return of UsFolk’s annual exhibition. Based in Belfast, UsFolk is an illustration agency and creative studio which represents the best in local and international illustration talent. The exhibition also celebrates the launch of the agency's new in-house animation service, enhancing the communication and storytelling of their illustrators’ work.

Inspired by UsFolk’s continued resilience and passion for illustration at the beginning of their sixth year, the theme for this year’s exhibition is ‘The Joy of Six’. UsFolk 6 features a wide variety of work by the agency’s established roster of illustrators whilst also serving as an introduction to new illustration talent for 2024/25. The three new illustrators featured are Mari Kakhurishvili (Tbilisi, Georgia), Viktoria Mladenovski (Berlin), and Clare Owen (Bristol).

The Naughton Gallery and UsFolk are regular collaborators, working on a range of projects from illustration commissions for exhibitions and printed matter to large scale projects with Schools across the University. Perhaps most notable is SCREEN/PRINT, a long-running film project which sees illustrators design new posters for a range of films to coincide with screenings at the Queen’s Film Theatre.
