From groundbreaking performance artists and internationally acclaimed photographers to directionless New Yorkers, superheroes, big-breasted Latinas, and “exiles in Guyville”,Juvenilia examines and challenges issues relating to the position of women within contemporary art and greater society, spanning Eastern Europe, the UK, South America and the United States. The exhibition is curated by Ben Crothers and includes works by Marina Abramovic, Sarah Maple, Cindy Sherman, Gail Simone and the Guerrilla Girls.

The Naughton Gallery at Queen's took part in the 'Your Paintings' project carried out by The Public Catalogue Foundation in partnership with the BBC. The PCF has created a complete digital record of the UK's national collection of oil paintings, with the aim of making art in public collections more accessible.
